KEEP YOUR OWN COPY

Download your practice record

Keep the prompt, the result you checked and what you will try next. Both downloads contain the same two pages:

  • Page 1: a blank one-page worksheet.
  • Page 2: a completed fictional email example, including the facts, prompt, checks and a repair.

PDF: 81 KB. Word: 38 KB. Choose PDF for printing, or Word to type and expand your answers.

Printing only the blank sheet? Choose page 1 in your print settings. The PDF uses US Letter size; choose Fit to page if you use A4 paper.

No sign-up needed. The PDF is for printing; it has no fillable fields. Edit the Word version in a compatible document app. Keep your entries in your own copy and leave out private details.

1. My small task
What do I want to finish?

2. Tool and date
Assistant / version if shown / plan if known / date

3. What I gave it
Source notes or link. What private details did I leave out?

4. My exact prompt
Keep a copy here or note where you saved it.

5. The result and what I checked
Keep the result or its location. Compare dates, numbers, names and promises with the source. Mark anything unresolved.

6. What I changed
Record one follow-up prompt or your own correction.

7. My decision
Use it / revise it / do it myself / ask someone qualified. Why?

8. Next time
What will I reuse, and what will need a fresh check?

A useful answer is one you can check. A confident answer is not proof.

Try it with the email lesson

Fictional example: My task is a short reply to Morgan. I check “not Friday,” “Tuesday,” the question about timing, and no invented reason or attachment. If an appointment appears, I remove it. I keep the prompt, but replace the dates and check every new draft.
